Vinyasa yoga encourages self-reflection and mindfulness. Our teacher Rebecca will guide you to become aware of each movement, breath and sensation, and every thought and feeling, to open up a window into who we really are and what we want in life.
This is how yoga becomes a practice of self-transformation and healing. Vinyasa yoga can have a dance-like quality as you move from one move to the next and you’ll walk out of the studio having had a full body workout but one that has worked to both strengthen and lengthen your muscles to create balance. At the end of the class we have a small meditation.
During the first week of the month, this will run as a Chakra Yoga class, in which the flow and movements performed will focus on nourishing a specific Chakra each week.

 Simshakti Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is the practice of asanas (poses) each held for longer than in conventional classes, often with the support of props such as bolsters, blocks and folded blankets, to relax and slow down the body. The poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes allowing the body to surrender to the pose with 100% comfort. Restorative Yoga is great for yogis suffering from injuries, stress, or illness, who therefore require a yoga practice that can bring them back to a better quality of life. It can also help with insomnia problems, bringing in a better quality of sleep.
